Become One of Us
Six people. One week on the Maine coast. It costs you nothing.
Who this is for
Waves of Honor retreats are for Veterans, First Responders, and Intelligence Community professionals. You do not need a diagnosis. You do not need to have been the worst case in the room. If you are carrying something you have not been able to set down, you are who this was built for.
What the week looks like
- Six participants. Small enough that nobody hides in the crowd.
- Led by peers who served, not by clinicians running a group.
- On the water most days: kayaking the York River, hauling traps alongside a local lobsterman, learning to read the water and work as a crew.
- Evenings are family-style meals and fireside conversation. No mandatory sharing, ever.
- Challenge by choice. You set your own line and we respect it.
What it costs
Nothing. The week is fully funded and we cover your travel to Maine. That is what donations pay for.
How to apply
- Fill out the form below. It takes about five minutes.
- One of us calls you. A real conversation, not a screening interview.
- We verify your service, with a DD-214 or an equivalent letter from your department or agency. It is a formality and we will walk you through it.
- We place you in the next cohort that fits and confirm your dates.
We run cohorts from spring through early fall. Applications stay open year round.
